Alternative Sentencing Assistance Program (A.S.A.P.)

Drug Court and Probation-approved

We developed the Alternative Sentencing Assistance Program (A.S.A.P.) to help individuals avoid jail time for charges like DUI, possession and other drug-related charges. Whether the person is a first time or a repeat offender, our program provides an opportunity to receive effective substance abuse treatment as an alternative to incarceration. Our program is Drug Court and Probation-approved.

Our ASAP program includes:

  • Assigned Court Liaison Representative
  • Case Manager services
  • Custom treatment plans
  • Individual and group therapy
  • PHP: Day/Night treatment with private waterfront housing
  • IOP/OP: Flexible day and evening services with transportation
  • Aftercare program
  • Nutritional counseling and holistic services that treat the whole patient
  • Alumni meeting and events
  • Family support services
  • Why A.S.A.P.

Putting drug offenders in jail without the benefit of treatment inhibits the opportunity for rehabilitation. It puts a strain on the individual, their families and the system itself.

A.S.A.P. offers many benefits to all parties involved:

    • A real opportunity to treat first time or repeat offenders and provide a lifeline to recovery.
    • A true partnership between healthcare professionals and the criminal justice system.
    • The drug offender receives individualized treatment to address both substance abuse and possible underlying mental health disorders.
    • Relapse prevention and sober coaching.

  • How It Works

We are committed to being a resource for attorneys, defendants and their family members throughout the treatment and recovery process. Our dedicated Court Liaison and Case Manager serve as a bridge between a client’s legal counsel, the courts and our medical and clinical staff teams. They work together to provide the following court required documents:

    • Therapeutic and psychiatric reports
    • Drug testing results
    • Aftercare plans
    • Additional information as required by the court

Our Court Liaison attends court appearances in the South Florida tri-county area on a client’s behalf, and assists legal authorities with progress updates during treatment. Arrangements can be made for out of state appearances either in person or by telephone.

  • Our Process

    • A client’s history is reviewed and the results are presented by our Court Liaison Representative who interfaces with the court/parole officers, law enforcement and legal representatives to ensure compliance.
    • Our Court Liaison Representative also coordinates necessary appearances of therapists and members of our Leadership Team, as appropriate.
    • A client is also assigned a dedicated Case Manager who coordinates requisite drug tests and other documentation to ensure client compliance.
    • Prior to treatment, we meet with the client, assess his or her needs and work toward individualized treatment plan goals.
    • As we evaluate progress in treatment, we continually assess so that we can build smaller achievements into a larger model of success.

Clients, family members and attorneys should call us at 1-888-711-0354 to speak with an Admissions Counselor about alternatives to incarceration.
