Cornerstone Recovery Center focuses on a step down approach to recovery treatment. Clients usually begin treatment in our Partial Hospitalization Program and then step down to IOP, or Intensive Outpatient Program. Sometimes, clients start treatment in IOP or come to Cornerstone to continue treatment from another facility. Evening IOP (EIOP) offers clients a flexible recovery treatment option with appointments to meet with counselors, therapists, and group meetings in the evenings and weekends. The Evening IOP Program utilizes the SMART Recovery ® curriculum. SMART stands for Self Management And Recovery Training. The techniques learned in this process help clients lead a healthier and more productive life. The Evening IOP is an program perfect for clients seeking ongoing support for recovery, but who have a daytime job schedule and need to maintain a family life. Evening intensive rehab still requires the client to be accountable for their behavior and maintain structured appointments. It includes a customized treatment plan of care that is developed for each individual based on his or her needs, circumstances and progress in recovery.
Since no two people are alike, no two recovery programs are alike; each client helps to customize their plan by working with our staff and choosing from the variety of services we have to offer. SMART Recovery® is not a 12-step based program for addiction, but it does compliment and support the traditional program. Many clients find that working with more than one program benefits their recovery. Click here to learn more about our SMART Recovery option.
