Clients in recovery are often dealing with trauma or post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) in addition to addiction. At Cornerstone, we have a trauma specialist to help you work though trauma and past issues that could otherwise inhibit your recovery process. In some cases, trauma or PTSD leads to the addiction when left untreated. This happens when some people feel the need to turn to alcohol or drugs to self-medicate. The staff at Cornerstone includes the medical director, psychiatrist, physician assistant certified, nurses, licensed mental health counselors, social workers, certified addiction professionals and counselors, certified behavioral health technicians, and certified recovery and family coaches. Our customized treatment plans integrate therapy with experienced professionals as well as holistic activities, group outings and traditional 12-step addiction recovery.
If you or a loved one is suffering from drug or alcohol addiction, you are in the right place. Cornerstone offers hope and help to our clients. Call us today at 1-888-711-0354 or contact us online to speak confidentially with an admissions counselor.
Cornerstone is different from other recovery centers because we make therapy with a trauma or PTSD specialist part of your customized recovery plan. We know that each client is different and the treatment plan for each individual must also be different based on the diagnoses, needs, and circumstances that are unique your situation. Your input is also needed in customizing your treatment plan; you help us develop the treatment plan that is right for you with a combination of services, therapies, curriculum, and programs.
Cornerstone Recovery Center provides a newly renovated, safe and comfortable residence housing facility that is just steps from the beach and overlooks the Intracoastal Waterway; it is perfect for clients coming to Florida for substance abuse addiction recovery from other states like Massachusetts, or cities like Suffolk, Plymouth, Norfolk, and Middlesex. Transportation is provided to our recovery center and back to the residences. Cornerstone focuses on providing a welcoming, supportive, and healing environment for our clients and their loved ones.
Treatment usually begins with an inpatient stay here as part of our step-down approach to recovery. Once the Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) is completed, clients can then move to our Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP), Outpatient Program (OP) and Aftercare depending on their individual progress. We also offer relapse prevention services for ongoing maintenance and support.
If you or a loved one needs help for alcohol or drug addiction, please contact our admissions counselor today by contacting us online or calling 1-888-711-0354. All communications with our staff are confidential.
