Family Information on Addiction Treatment

Here at Cornerstone, we firmly believe that the person that is here in our substance use disorder program is not the only one going through treatment.  Addiction is a family disease; alcohol or drug abuse not only affects the person seeking treatment, but relationships with family, friends and loved ones. Cornerstone staff is committed to keeping family members in the loop and understand that part of recovery must include support from family and friends and that often some of those relationships need some mending after the strain of addiction. Family services are included in our program before admission, during treatment, and after treatment as a vital part of recovery. We host Family Night events on the first and third Fridays of each month so family members can come to group sessions and meet others who are going through very similar situations. Building a support network and knowing that they are not alone through this process is one of the most appreciated factors cited in the success of our Family Night events.

Cornerstone’s proven, family-centered drug abuse program has been very successful for clients looking to break free from addiction. The staff at Cornerstone includes the medical director, psychiatrist, physician assistant certified, nurses, licensed mental health counselors, social workers, certified addiction professionals and counselors, certified behavioral health technicians, and certified recovery and family coaches. For more information on family services and our drug treatment programs, please contact Tracie Duich at Tracie@cornerstonefl.com or call her directly at 954-556-7441.
