The 12-Step Recovery program is the most popular and well-known treatment program we offer here at Cornerstone. The 12-step approach to recovery has been very successful in helping those dealing with addiction to alcohol or drugs. We guide clients through the 12 steps, also known as 12 principles to recovery, in our nurturing and healing environment. A typical day may include individual and group therapy, exercise, holistic activities, and attending 12-step meetings. We bring AA and NA meetings to our treatment center, and we provide transportation to AA and NA meetings outside of Cornerstone, as well.
The staff at Cornerstone includes the medical director, psychiatrist, physician assistant certified, nurses, licensed mental health counselors, social workers, certified addiction professionals and counselors, certified behavioral health technicians, and certified recovery and family coaches. In addition to helping clients work through the 12 steps, our holistic services include nutritional counseling, chiropractic services, massage therapy, a serenity lounge, 12-step yoga classes, acupuncture, art therapy and more. The traditional 12-step recovery process focuses on recovery in all areas: physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual.
We also keep a strong focus on family and repairing family relationships that are so often compromised because of addiction. Cornerstone’s family-centered, proven approach to recovery has been very successful for clients looking to break free from addiction. If you or a loved one is suffering from addition, you are in the right place: call us today at 1-888-711-0354 or contact us online for a confidential chat with an admissions counselor.
Cornerstone Recovery Center believes that what works for someone may not work for another. Your recovery plan will be customized to fit your needs and your progress will depend on you – not a set timeline. Treatment usually begins with an inpatient stay here as part of our step-down approach to recovery. Our newly renovated, safe and comfortable residence housing facility is within walking distance to the beach and overlooks the Intracoastal Waterway – a perfect setting for clients coming to Florida for drug or alcohol addiction recovery from northern states like New Jersey, or cities like Upper Darby, Reading, Scranton, Bethlehem, and Lower Merion. Transportation is provided to our recovery center and back to the residences, as well as for shopping and group outings.
Upon completing the Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP), clients can then move to our Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP), Outpatient Program (OP) and Aftercare, depending on their individual progress. We also offer relapse prevention services for ongoing maintenance and support. All of our plans are customized based on your needs and include your choice of recovery programs, like traditional 12 step recovery.
Cornerstone focuses on providing a welcoming, supportive, and healing environment for our clients and their families.
